Mr. Trash Wheel
Mr. Trash Wheel, also known as Trash Wheel No. 1 or Old White Tires, is a one-of-a-kind water wheel invention designed to collect floating garbage from Baltimore’s Inner Harbor. Created by the Waterfront Partnership of Baltimore, this googly-eyed mechanical marvel has been scooping up litter and debris from the Jones Falls since 2014. To date, Mr. Trash Wheel has removed over 1.5 million pounds of trash from the harbor, including 7 million cigarette butts!
